Welcome to the Frome Family History Group website. We are a small family history group based in the fascinating historical market town of Frome in Somerset.

Our recent project has been the on-site transcription of Frome Holy Trinity Church's gravestones. If you think you have an ancestor buried there we can very quickly check the database and let you have the details. We can also check the database of the Dissenters Cemetery in Frome for buried ancestors so just send an email with the name you are researching.

We are constantly adding lots more information to this website as time goes by so keep looking. Hopefully you will find a variety of articles and information which will be of interest now and we would be delighted to see you at any of our meetings - you do not need to be a member.
